A Cultures Question

This makes me wonder if the origins of flamenco is not Inyamibwa. The dancer bride’s name is Ange, she is from a dancing troupe, Insta: @inyamibwaaerg

The tweeter posted more videos in the thread. I wonder where the Moors were from, if they had a similar dance, and cultural exchange with the Roma?

Flamenco origins are Roma too, of course, but going further back, the Roma came from India, were presumably Dalits but nowhere in India do people dance with similar movements. Also they are practically doing las palmas in that video behind Ange. The only similarity I ever found with Indian music is that it’s 8-beats.

An appropriate question perhaps, for Venus square Neptune; an appropriate transit for me to mess up the format and visual flow. I can’t seem to fix it.

Addendum: since, I found more about music I’m unfamiliar with and there is 2.5, 3 and 4 beats; meaning 5, 6 and 8. And please don’t think of spouting nonsense here, not everything is called raaga
